I have a few more days of painting to go.

This painting is coming alive. I can feel the sun on the leaves.

There is a second clematis in this watercolor, a deep red, dainty little flower, viticella Purpurea Plena Elegans.

You can see in this picture how Arabella is quite a dark purple/burgundy when first open and slowly is faded by the sun to beautiful blue tones.

This is another Clematis watercolor painting I have started. This is Clematis Arabella. To the left is the photograph I am using for reference. This will be an 11" x 15" painting.
