I had a hard time painting Mike, making him look as young as he is in the reference photo - the subtleties that give youth. Kathleen is coming into focas.

Adding toning to the faces.. put a little on... take a little off...

In this painting are Teresa, baby Kathleen, and Mike Kiezer.

First wash, staining colors, Garnet Lake, Phthalo turquoise, Quinacridone Gold. Flesh tones are Raw Sienna, Cad. Red Medium, Phthalo turquoise, Winsor violet.
