In this post you can see all three reference photos that tell the story of this painting. I am working with non-staining colors cobalt blue, rosemadder genuine, aureolin, and burnt sienna.

I had masked out Larry and the ravens heads to paint the sky. The sky is painted with staining colors: winsor blue, red shade and winsor blue, green shade.
The canyon  and the bricks are painted with non-staining colors: burnt sienna, cobalt blue, and rose madder genuine.

This will be a 10" x 25" watercolor of Larry and his close encounter with a very large Raven, while enjoying the view at Bryce Canyon.
