The painting is almost done.... I think i need to do something more to the open door of the cabin, to make it more inviting. I think a little smoke coming from the chimeny will help bring the scene to life.
I had thought the same as you, that it still needs something...a dog or cat in the doorway? A pot of flowers on the porch? A bird in a nearby tree? I like the idea of some smoke coming from the chimney. It is just beautiful, though, Debbie! I love this painting.
